Yip, its a 23. AdK, Smith and Bradshaw, 1985.
That block is pretty solid. My 100kg doesn't budge it...

probably more west than north, but yes, you're thinking of the right place. Mhlabatini is to the other side of Fern.

That is Yunus' teeth, not chalk

I'm afraid he was pulling some strange faces as our group had *NO* sleep that night due to a raucous party at de Pakhuys that involved some kids playing the most hideous soundtrack over and over and over and over again until around 05:00am at volumes that would have your teeth rattling!

I still have nightmares about it...

The route was a 23, I think. I did not have my route guide with me when I posted the photo up, but will check and update later.

Oh, and we also did plenty of bouldering

Great Pic of Yunus. Photos are always good when the person makes and effort and hangs off a rope to get the pic. Keep it up, I need the psyche, stuck in Brazil no climbing many months..

There was no hanging from a rope to take this photograph. Just because a photo is taken while hanging from a rope does not automatically make it a good photograph. There is a lot more effort involved in taking a photograph than just hanging from a rope.

I am pretty sure that that was not what Andrew meant... I think that he was referring to the fact that you were hanging off a rope to be able to take this awesome pic.
