Wanted: Rock Exotica Silent Partner

Post by Keelan »

Hey guys!

I know it's a bit of a stretch but I was wondering if anyone had a Silent Partner they'd be willing to let off their hands? I'm just looking to be safer than my current grigri setup (failing that; any advice on how you may rope solo without a silent partner would be welcome too!)

Cheers!

-you and half the world.

Revo with modified spring is the closest modern option, though it can desheath a rope from a big whipper.
Grigri is not a bad option though.

I'd be keen to meet up (for a climb) & compare systems sometime.

Revo is best and most affordable option for soloing. I ab down and clean on gri gri. Get your protocols and checks down 100% before going out alone. It's mentally and physically very demanding esp when multi pitching and tradding!!

Also get your self rescue techniques perfect. When you're aline send things go pear shaped, it gets pretty sphincter tightening

Howzit Keelan

I have a silent partner that I'd be up for selling. DM me if you still keen to go that route.
