Ruan has a cool physio that is currently treating him for a partial impingement in his shoulder. His name is Thys Fourie 012 998 6974. He is in Pretoria East.

I see this physio list hasn't been updated in a while. Can anyone recommend a physio in Cape Town (preferably southern suburbs), someone with knowledge of climbing related shoulder/tendon injuries.

I highly recommend Mark Seuring at SPARC who is both a strong climber and a physio

Anyone got a recommendation on a physio (Northern Suburbs, Cape Town) for a foot injury? My fiance rolled her ankle in March while we were doing a trail run. Foot has just never fully recovered. We had xrays taken and there is nothing broken that the doctor could see.

I can highly recommend Jessie Workman. She sorted out my shoulder injury in no time. She is also a climber. https://jlwstudio.org/ :thumleft:

Anybody know a climbing physio in the Pretoria area?

Word
Tarryn Smith in SilverLakes. After trying a few physios/biokineticists - she helped me a lot with a serious shoulder impingement.
SUPER accommodating with my odd schedule which is rare in any industry
Also - shes got some cool new technology thats different from the usual physios which I ultimately believe helped fix me! :thumright

Julia Šmigelskis - Another climbing specific physio, Julia probably work's more climbers than most .

Julia operates from Bloc11 Paarden Eiland and Diep River  https://www.physio.bloc11.co.za/book-online

You may recall Julia did a study on Hand/finger injuries & fingerboard training last year

Julia has specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and as of yesterday, completed her MSc in Exercise and Sport Physiotherapy :hapban
Julia's special interest is in climbing related physiotherapy, especially assessing and treating finger injuries, but also optimising climbing performance.
