Can you Build a Climbing wall

Post by RichardL »

I am looking for someone who can build a home climbing wall with T nuts and top rope anchors etc
I have two sites that need a wall, one in Cape Town and the other in Montague. Please let me know if you can assist or if you know of someone who can? I am not sure of the sizes or site details.

Thanks
Richard

Hi Richard

I've built a wall for my kids (and for me) at our place in Montagu. Super-basic but it's a starting point for the next one I want to build: 3x the size and adjustable in terms of angle.

Where are you based? Montagu as well?

Cheers,
Alan

HI Alan - the walls are not for me, I am just assisting the "future wall owners" ( 2 different people) with finding a person that can build them a great wall.

Do you know anyone in Montague that is a carpenter or handyman?

Thanks
Richard

Give Garvin (Climber, carpenter, part-time Montagu resident) a call. He may be interested - 0h eight tree niner 61 0044

Garvin has built a wall or two.

Or try Ian at Valley Crag OH six 62 548 344. He has built quite a few walls & makes his own grips (very nice!).
