Hornets nest at Blaze of Glory

Post by JJ92 »

Hi everyone, we found 2 hornets making a nest yesterday at Blaze of Glory right next to the first bolt of the 19 Drop zone, between the 19 and 20 basically.

Wondering what the protocol is for making it safe for both wasps and humans?

Doom or A swinging chalk bag (either way you might get munched). Make sure to remove the tiny bit of the nest touching the rock or they will be back soon.

That was informative and insightful - no point in trying to not disturb wasps if they don't belong here anyway. How did they get here?
Really, its not that bad...I think it's my shoes...

They were solid black in body and not like in the pics above. I must say I'm a bit hesitant to be the exterminator 😅 all options sound like an easy way to get stung.
Any volunteers? 😛
