Hi guys

Anyone done any climbing in Matopos, Zimbabwe?
I believe there's some sport near the moth memorial, but there must be trad a-plenty.

Hi Vaughn,
There are 3 people climbing regularly in the matopos (myself included) and a handful of boulderers (sp???) that get out there occasionally. If you are coming up here, drop us a line and we can show you around.
There is a hell of a lot of rock in the Matopos, around 3100 km². Its not well developed but a few trad routes have been put up in the last few months. I cant vouch for the sport at the moth shrine. Do you have any more info on how to get to it from there as i am planning to be in the matopos this weekend and would like to check it out and of course i will send along my findings asap.
