Table Mountain trad

Postby Rastaman » Wed Jun 28, 2006 11:01 am

A buddy and myself are keen to do an easy trad route up Table mountain.
What is the best route up? Something in the range of 10 to 15.

In that range, without doubt one of the top contenders is Africa Crag. 12 or 14, depending on which first pitch you do.

Spectacular route regardless of grade!!

Frasier’s Variation to Arrow is a classic easy line (about an E1 - Grade 12)

About 3 pitches long on the lower Arrow buttress. India Giver on Venster buttress (about a 13, I think, can't remember the no. of pitches)

Grab a route book such as \"The Ledge\" or “Cape Peninsula classics”

Chose a line of least resistance and follow you nose to the top.

Enjoy
