Hey,
I'm going down to Hermanus in a few weeks and was wondering if there was any climbing there? Bouldering will also do nicely

Hi Kleinmond is a short drive away (20 minutes) and as awesome sport climbing from easy (15 or so) to very hard (28 plus) check out Western Cape Rock it has the complete guide of the area...
Enjoy!

don't waste time looking for good rock in hermanus, it doesn't really exist, except there is one 31 and 28 trad line somewhere above voelklip, with very little pro. Kleinmond is pretty good.

You can have loads of fun on the beaches at low tide, take your shoes with and do some bouldering on the beach. Keep an eye out for loose and/or sharp rock, assess whatever you chose to climb first before cranking down on it. If you start at the main beaches past town and walk back toward the town there are some interesting coves with some really fun problems in an amazing setting.
Kleinmond is awesome for sport and has several undeveloped boulders on the west flank of the hill.
