Selling crashpads after Rocklands trip

Post by jonketo » Wed Jul 25, 2012 7:42 pm

My friends and I are planning a trip to South Africa next spring to climb. We have started our planning and are trying to figure out whether it is better to buy crash pads and try to sell them or rent for our entire stay and I want to see what the locals or anyone else who has travelled there had to say.

Any input will be helpful. Thanks much.

Out of curiosity do you plan to buy them here too?

You should be able to make a plan once you are here, meeting student climbers and other poor locals, most of whom aren't on this- or any other- climbing forum

If this forum's anything to go by - it will be super easy to sell your pads when you're done with them. People seem to always be looking to buy 2nd hand crash pads.
