Towerkop this weekend
Hi
Some friends and I are heading out to Towerkop for the long weekend. Does any one know what the water situation at the top is at the moment? Really hoping that the drips and water cave have water because I really don't want to carry water from the hut.
Anyone else going to be there?

Re: Towerkop this weekend
It's been raining in Montagu and surrounds so there should be water up there. Phoning a restaurant or 'person' in Ladismith would be the best way to find out.
Have fun and don't forget to take your down jacket

Do not expect balmy climbing conditions dude! U're heading up into a deep freeze... If warm and windless, climb on northern or northwestern side of Western Pinnacle.

Hi Nic
Just confirming what most of the others said: take the warm stuff! We've already had a very light snow covering about twee weeks ago, and should it happen that you encounter some rain it might bring more snow with it. And don't worry about water at the top, even in very dry seasons I haven't found the water cave at the back without a reasonable amount of water.
Enjoy the trip!
Cheers
