Trip in rocklands from france

Postby cduret » Fri Mar 10, 2006 4:18 pm

Hello guyz,
We're going to do a bouldering trip to South Africa & Namibia next august. We will begin our trip from Cape Town. We will rent a car in CT to go to the Rocklands, and finally go to Namibia in the Spitzkoppe.

I would be happy to know the best place to camp out in rocklands.

If any climber here has experienced the Spitzkoppe or more generally the Namibia, is it a good place to climb ??
Apparently it seems to be a GREAT area for bouldering http://www.udini.de/gallery/SA/Klem_2005/

At this time we are only two guyz to do this trip so it would be a pleasure to meet any local climbers so you can contact me if you want to join us in rocklands or in namibia.

thanks a lot
cyrille

For bouldering: Rocklands yes, Namibia no...
Klem did not have wonderful things to say, good from far but far from good. If you start with Rocklands you'll never leave!!

Checkout \"Clanwilliam + tourist + accomodation\" on Dr Google. The Clanwilliam tourism number is +27-27-4822024.

From a cold wet Kalymnos - 8 days rain 1 day sun :-(
