nut found on Quite Something

Did you forget you favourite boots at the crag? Or, did you find some quickdraw on the 4th bolt of some route?

nut found on Quite Something

Postby shorti » Wed Nov 02, 2011 11:39 pm

I retrieved a big nut from Quite Something on Wolfberg. I'll be in Cape Town until Sunday. I don't really want it so I'll probably leave it at Mok's place. A nice cold beer would be appreciated :drunken:

haha - no I didn't want to steal Proze and Arno's thunder. Ok, I'm still too chicken to do it. I found Satisfaction Guaranteed more to my liking though.

his shortness onsighted satisfaction guaranteed in fine style. what an amazing amazing pitch of climbing the second one is! it turned out to be a slight epic as we started just before 4; topped out at 7:20pm and had to walk down in the dark wearing climbing shoes. ouch!

well done shorti and Mok
SG is a great route. The 2nd pitch is not a doddle so awesome stuff gents !
I remember my ''hang on factor'' levels started diminishing quickly at the top of that pitch. Finished it with a mouth drier than a Daha camels sack and eyes burning with sweat.
Wolfberg is pretty intimidating, and its starts on the walk in as you look up at the walls every few steps.
That place has amazing energy ! :thumright

Good job boys

Thanks - I thought it was a walk in the park  (It's been a while since I was so happy sending a pitch)

So no-one wants the nut?
