Paul Robinson crushing in the cape

Postby Wes B » Sat Jul 09, 2011 10:53 pm

Have you guys seen Paul Robinson crushing down at topside. I don't exactly now all of the routes he has done but he just put up a new 8b+. If anything this is awesome for the Cape Town scene. It seems to have rubbed off on Clinton Martinengo cause he is also cranking. I think it's awesome that some international guys are climbing in areas other than rocklands. Joey in Boven, Paul in the Cape.

The future looks bright for SA climbing.

I cannot but wholly agree with Wes on this one.

An infinitude of pervasive awesomeness has been induced by Paul R. cranking at Topside!

Go Paul, continue your work establishing and confirming Topside as a, pardon this, top worldclass area!

Also, awsome work by the local guys showing Paul around, that is how you improve; by participating with the best!

I believe we need more strong foreign guys, and women/girls ( hate this PC thing we got going btw), developing new areas in South Africa and thus adding more credibility to such areas inducing more and more strong foreign climbers visiting our beautiful country.

So Wes, here is to an exceptionally bright future for climbing in SA.

Viva!

Good to hear about the psyche!

However, I feel the need to say that ol' Clint has been a-crushin and cranking the crap out of everything climbing wise since the late 90"s, I think...

Rock On!
