multi-pitch in Table Mountain
multi-pitch in Table Mountain
Hi guys!
I’m an Italian girl and also a climber! I’ll be in Cape Town from the 1th to the 8 April, and I would like to have one day climbing in Table Mountain, maybe the 3th (Sunday).
I started to climb two years ago, and now I climb between 18/19 grade (F 5c/6a), especially as a second. I’ve with me only my shoes. I would like to climb a muti-pitch, something like Jacobs ladder… Can you help me? What is the best way to do it?
Greetings!
cristina

Re: multi-pitch in Table Mountain
The best way would be to hire a guide, there are some great guys and as you come from europe I'm sure it will be pretty cheap for you.
Re: multi-pitch in Table Mountain
There is a Mountain Club rock climbing meet on the 3rd at Lions Head.
You are welcome to join us, but I too suggest you find a guide.

It's nice the Mountain Club rock climbing meeting. I’m in the Italian Alpine Club, too. But maybe it is a little bit complicate because I haven’t my climbing equipment. Maybe a guide can provide for that, too.
Any suggestions for a good guide?
thank you very much!
Cheers

What?
What'd we do?
Ross is cool, and I did offer, didn't I....
@ Christina.
We'll have enough gear (Harness & helmet included) for you too.
But Lions Head it will have to be, and it there is a chance of it being single pitch only. We will know that only once there when we see who shows up.
If you are interested, send me a PM and I'll get more info to you.
