Buying Hangers...

Postby Stu » Tue Jun 30, 2009 11:50 am

Where in SA can one buy reasonably priced hangers?
The Petzl ones currently go for R40 I think? I guess that's managable for one pitch but get's pricey for multi-pitch.
Any other suppliers out there?

Derek? Maybe someone can take up where you left off... Anything over two pitches is quite a drain on the wallet at the moment.

Check with jacques @ mountainpursuits.co.za ?

alternatively try alpinist.co.za - I bought from them before too, but personnally I'd try Jacques first, his prices & delivery was better.

Sky hangers should be available at your local retailer at around R25. If not order then through our website and we will send them to the retailer for you.

Email me an order at sales@rammountain.co.za and i will have them sent to the outdoor retailer of our choice. i would not suggest Cape Union simply as they do not stock them regulary and so it would take a while before it got to the store.

Hey guys, just went past UPAT and the bolts have gone up in price from about R12 to R20  And Hiliti are closed for the holidays, is there any other place I can get them, or has the price of new routing yet again gone up?

Hey Stu

CityROCK has a few 10mm x 70mm Fischer bolts left. Retail is R21, but we'll give you a good(very) discount on them...
