online boven guide

Postby andrew p » Fri Nov 26, 2010 2:08 pm

Calling all Bovenators..

Thanks for the edits for the online guide, download it from the articles http://www.climb.co.za/2010/11/the-new-and-updated-guide-to-waterval-boven/

We will post up the final version in a few days time. If anyone has anymore spelling or technical edits pls let know, by replying to this topic.

The online guide will serve us well, until Team Mpumulanga bring out a new guidebook..

Almost 150 new routes were added in 6 years, not bad!

Thanks

Andrew

Awesome Andrew - thanks for all the hard work! :thumleft:

One correction to the Wonderland Map: the Rubik's Cube boulders as well as the scramble down to Tranquilitas crags have been marked too far to the left. If you take the path heading NE out of the campsite and extend it directly to the edge of the crag from the t-junction you have currently marked, that's where they should be located.

i.e. The t-junction should actually be a 4-way path intersection if you get what I'm describing?

Thanks guys for your "labour of love" that will by and large be under-appreciated or taken for granted by many who do little or nothing themselves.

To see you guys putting in so much effort for the general benefit of the climbing community is so gratifying. And I will use your guide and I thank you.

The disgruntled dudes who feel their projects and labours should be funded by others should reflect a little on their attitudes.
