http://www.metoliusclimbing.com/simulator.html you can get it from city rock.

If you're willing to shell out, buy a http://www.beastmaker.co.uk. They truly are the best hangboards around. Resin hangboards are stupid because they allow your skin, and friction, to assist your hangs. Rather save yourself the money and mount a 2cm wooden rung above your doorframe (assuming you don't want a beastmaker).

Eh? Rock has texture. We all crave friction when climbing. Wooden hangboards are easier on the skin, though.

Sure, but you're training fingerstrength, not friction, on a hangboard, especially when it comes to slopers. Plus you don't want to stuff your skin up hangboarding.proze wrote:Eh? Rock has texture. We all crave friction when climbing. Wooden hangboards are easier on the skin, though.

City Rock also stock a wooden Metolius board for about R500, btw. A lot cheaper than the Beastmaker and available locally.

Has anyone here done pull ups on baseballs with hooks? Does it benefit you more than doing pull ups on a hang board?

LOL! What a cool idea (baseball pull ups)! Still like my Metolius board (city rock), but hey, still dig the ball idea!
