Hey G!
The Indoor climbing wall here in Stellenbosch (Perfect Wall) gives regular 'Introduction to Climbing' courses - you need just to book at least one day in advance. The teaching is solid, and since we mainly focus on Indoor Climbing, we prepare a student to handle Indoor Situations well.
It may be a great way to start since we try not to throw you into the deep end too quickly!

I know that CityROCK also do alot of courses like an Intro Course, Lead courses, Technique Courses and lots more... Go and have a look, they are situated in Cape Town, Observatory or have a look at their website: www.cityrock.co.za
