Skoorsteenkop - still accessible?

Postby novocaine » Mon Jan 07, 2008 11:54 am

Hi, my friend's and I wanted to go do some climbing at Skoorsteenkop on Saturday, but we found that the part of the road leading up to the approach was on private property. Is Skoorsteenkop still accessible? Does one have to take a massive detour to get there? Is there an alternative route?

The guide we have is \"Western Cape Rock\" and the gate, walls, barbed wire all look new. So it seems that it's only recently that the road has been closed to the public.
