Climbing Partner in the Cape

Post by Si-4 » Wed Dec 02, 2009 8:25 pm

Hey There

Recently moved back to CT and want to get back into the climbing. Its been about a year and the withdrawels are now too much. Have all the gear already, would like to do some sport and trad. Grades at the moment would probably only be anything from 16 up to about a 19.

Hello Simon. I assume you posted this looking for more long term partners. I am just traveling through SA. I have been unable to climb for the last 5 months, but really more like a year. that being said, now that I can I pretty much want to climb the whole three weeks I am in SA. I am there Jan 6th-Feb.1. I don't know your grading system but I assume right now I can climb through 5.11 but not much harder, at least for the first week or so. I only have a harness/shoes/belay device with me, but I can lead trad and sport. If you have any interest in joining up for some climbing let me know,

Hey Simon

I have also recently returned to CT and am looking for a climbing partner to do a few indoor climbs during the week as well as the odd outdoor sport/trad climb. Was climbing 23 but now probably around 18/19.
Give me a shout on

Hey Simon
Did you get sorted with climbing partner? I have not been out there for last 4 months or so but miss it a lot. Grade climbing at comfortably when I stopped was only 17 sport but i do recognise that i need to do some work to get back there....
post reply if keen to maybe meet and do some indoor work at first...
