Bouldering Rocklands July/August

Postby ErikR » Wed Jan 07, 2009 4:47 pm

Hi there,

I'm from the Netherlands and looking for a vacantion destination in July and August. Maybe I was thinking to visit the Rocklands.

Is it easy to travel from Clan William to Pakhuis without a car? Are there any people from this forum in July and August there?

Kind regards,

Erik

It's pretty easy to hitch from Clanwilliam to Rocklands, just not very reliable because there can be no cars for over an hour. I suggest wearing clothes that identify you as a climber so that other climbers will give you a lift. There are lots of climbers around in July/Aug.
There's no point being pessimistic, because it probably won't work

So you're not going to join the growing number of people who boulder in Mankini's??
