Climbing near Port Elizabeth

Post by jodie michele » Tue Mar 04, 2008 2:49 pm

Hello everyone,
I am new to the area, just came on the first of March from America and I am looking for anyone who climbs anywhere near port elizabeth. I am really looking forward to finding someone for the weekends that could possibly drive or ride along with me. Also any advise for areas around P.E. would be great.

There is quite a bit of info on PE and surrounds. Goto The Forum search page and search for the words 'Port Elizabeth'

There's no climbing around PE, or the EC really for that matter...rather take up surfing

Jimmy is just jealous because he wasn't at Pinnacle this weekend. It was loverly! Shame shame for you.

We are climbing on Cockscomb this weekend. Its a nasty walk. Leaving on Friday afternoon coming back on Sunday. If an \"official\" mountain club meet.We are going to climb something up there. Not the greatest rock though. You are welcome to to join us.
