Hi,
Was checking out this route at Paarl over the weekend. Western Cape Crags says \"5 bolts and about 10 slings\". Does this mean one is to wrap slings around features in the dyke??? Doesn't look to comforting from the bottom, and it doesn't look like the route will take friends/nuts either.

Anyone done the route recently and got any advice on how to avoid severe bodily harm (without giving the game away).

There is 5 bolts which protect the crux moves and inbetween you used the slings for peace of mind...

I did the route a few years ago. I recall a few hard moves immediately below the bolts (which do now fortunately take proper draws) and recall lots of fun climbing between them. The slings must have been bomber for the moves you are doing at the time.

Wow, I see I made the first post on this almost 10 years ago. Time does indeed progress in a way resembling flight.

Its a rad route. A Paarl must do. Do it.
