I bought mine from West Rand Bolt & Tool 3 weeks back.(Randfontein 011 - 693 3862)
45c one if you buy 500 for size M8.

The cheapest I have found have been at ttp://www.topfast.co.za/. They also have galvanised bolts in case you want something that wont rust.
Boulder for strength
Trad for life

we have a few thousand heavy duty 10mm weld nuts arriving in a month or so.
they will sell for R7 each. they will last FOREVER compared to a normal t-nut.
after 11 years of replacing t-nuts we have found that so far these are the best option for securing grips to shutterply.
outside Ø of shaft 12mm, accommodates 10mm cap screw.

Anyone got any updated views on this subject for 2016? Specifically in CT?

@zb Eikestad Bolt & Nut

I can tell you quite reliably though that as of yesterday lunch time they are out of stock. Alternatively for R1 each :

I got some quotes today (All M8s)

Bolt It: 3 Prong R950/500
Bolt fast: 3 Prong R950/500
Top fast: 4 Prong R1400/500
Bolt & Nut World: 4 Prong R1100/500
Bolt & Nut Centre: 4 Prong R1100/500

...seems C&C are the winners (although stock says only 51 in stock!)

Having built a few climbing walls now I can assure you that the ones Robert is suggesting are far superior. The others pop and cause havoc and damage your wood. But if you just want the cheapies, any industrial bolt anf nut store will have them.
