Howzit,

I have a Cape Storm Dragonfly down sleeping bag for sale.

https://www.gumtree.co.za/a-camping-gea ... 0195753209

It has been used once in a clean, controlled environment. It's rating is similar to the First Ascent Icebreaker. (Some claimed it had a better insulation to weight ratio.) It comes with a compression bag and a mesh storage expansion bag. It is the upgraded version of the Cape Storm Firefly, intended for a colder temperature range than the Firefly.

Approximate temperature rating (always subjective  ):
Comfort: -10C
Extreme: -18C
Weight : 1.55kg (approx)

Colour: Red

Might be a tad on the heavy side for you?

I want R2500 for it. Contact details on the other site.

Yes, a bit on the heavy side for me. Thank you though!

… and I remember the days when a 1.55kg sleeping bag was considered light.

*sigh*

'Heavy side' referring to temperature rating and not weight.

Weight is fairly inconsequential (within limits), in my books haha :)

I might be keen on the Cape Storm Sleeping bag. Does anyone recall the old range of Cape Storm bags? I always wanted the lightweight one but never got around to buying one...I would be keen though...
