Outdoor Gear: The best of the best

Remember the brand Scavenger, apparently still sell safety gear, climbing gear. etc
They made a Sport Rope bag.. was best thing since sliced bread - Came in different pretty colours and had padding on the shoulder straps, everything folded neatly in the pouch and you could simply pull a drawstring to open or close your rope up in the tarp to keep dirt getting in.

Just one of the many cool products out there, whats your favourite peice of gear?

Yes they are in Silverton - Go to their workshop quite often. Nice guys and they also make the Backpackers bags there.

Scavenger still makes those rope bags, and they are our most popular rope bags.

My favourite piece of gear has to be the Tre belay device. It is simply amazing.
I also have quite taken to my Silent Partner, although that may just be because no one wants to climb with me and my crummy, fuzzy old ropes! :-)
