Washing Sleeping bags

Post by Dogleg » Sun Nov 15, 2009 5:44 pm

Howzit chaps,

I have a kak 280gms hollowfibre sleeping bag, that has become mank over the past few years of going to bed pissed, not giving a cr@p about having a shower and regretting the inebriated decision I had assured myself was a top choice the night before.
Anywayzzzzzz.... how the hell do I wash the thing?
(I know I should get a down bag, blah blah blah, boring stuff etc.....)

Shot for your comments,

I'm not here for a long time,
I'm here for a good time!

Buy the appropriate washing soap.
Put in the washing machine to do its thing.

Afterwards put it in the dryer (you may need to let it dry off a little) with a couple of tennis balls (a soft shoe will do the job too). This is to even the fill out (avoid clumping).

Hollow fibre bag is easy-peasy. Just gooi it in the washing machine like you would anything else. It's the down bags that are a mission to maintain.
