Hey, I might be able to get you the coordinates of Sentinel car park, chain ladders, Tugela and crows nest. My friend had his GPS with him last time we went up there, I'll email him and let you know.

May I ask what you intend using it for?

Hey Stephan that would be great. Please ask him what Datum he was using too.

I am writing an article about some of the walks in the Northern and Central Berg for an Italian magazine.

Hi African Climber
The places you have asked GPS coordinates for sounds \"dodgy\" bro.
If you can read a compass and Map, buy Maps 1 and 3 of the Berg, it will be safer than just to have GPS coordinates.
Mostly there are either good paths or \"handrails\" so it is easy to navigate.

Check out www.berg.co.za
There are photos and coordinates of caves in the Berg.
Please rely on GPS just as a back-up for navigation.
Bad weather, bad GPS uplink, bad idea.

Skapie,

African Climber needs the info cause he's \"writing an article about some of the walks in the Northern and Central Berg for an Italian magazine.\" and not because he is planning a hike in the Berg.

@African Climber, I sent you a PM and email..

Cheers

Hi African Climber
When do you need the info ?
I have most of the GPS coordinates, but not currently with me.
I can send you most of it end of the month, when I will be \"reunited\" with my gear.

www.geocities.com/supertraverse

Click on the GPS co-ordinates link in the top menu. There are about 200 berg waypoints there, all measured with GPS at the actual location, including those you have asked for.

Hi, unfortunately this link (http://www.geocities.com/supertraverse) is dead.
Has anyone got an updated one?
I'm looking for GPS coordinates for various points in the Western Cape.
Thanks!

Many points Uwe?
Care to give a list?

I have a few on record, perhaps some you need.

High priority would be:
Suther Peak, Judas Peak and Chapmans Peak and maybe 1 or 2 on the trail up.
(not climbing related I know but ...)

Nice to have:
Faith, Hope and Charity
I've got 3 *different* versions of where they are (map, gps-map and a local farmer)
