Ask. Answer. Discuss. Any bolting related issues.
Does anybody have any record of a drill being used on a rescue? The MCSA rescue fellows, in the Eastern Cape, want to keep the club drill on stand by for rescues. Has anybody ever heard of this sort of need before? Do all the rescue teams have their own drills? All information appreciated.
At the start of 'Exposure in the F Major', Du Toits Kloof there in an old (very old) bolt placement from a rescue in the 80's. I think it's a really good thing, as rescues need to have 100% anchors. Maybe we can have lots of \"rescue bolts\" on Table Mountain
I know I performed a 'rescue'(people ran out of daylight and set up a fixed line)once at Paarl Rocks, requiring a drill. Does that count?;)
