Anyone know anything about cheap climbing holidays in Greece and Turkey? Looking into a climbing trip there and am battling to find basic details like camping availability on some of the islands?
Would appreciate any advice/guidance/warnings/tales...
A bit of Turkey? Greece anyone?

There is, as of last week, no camp site on Kalymnos - but lots and lots of studios to stay in. Loads of places for 10euro per person per night, look around, some are nice and some are filthy. If you want luxury for 15euro pppn, check out the Akropolis hotel in Masouri, the village where most of the climbers stay. Scooters to hire 9euro per day if you take it for more than 4 days. The crags closest to town are getting polished, especially the easy stuff. Cruise on the scooter a bit and it's all world class. Enjoy, and tell the Greeks I say they should lighten up a bit. Don't expect Thailand-type friendly people.
Turkey - Geyikbayiri has got good camping, check it out.

Glenn, awesome! Maybe we will see you there! How long you planning on going for?
Pierre, Thanks for that advice.
Any idea how much camping in Turkey costs?
