Forget about sport and get a rack. You'll have Spitskoppe on your doorstep! Granite big walls, soaring cracks, awesome setting. Theres some sport routes too, but most have big leadouts.

Spitzkoppe is fantastic. Some short \"training\" sport routes in the campsite.
Plenty of long multi-pitch sport routes. ranging from easy to hard and commited stuff. Lots of trad as well.
The run-outs aint that bad. Its all in your head.
I would rather be 5m above a nice shiny bolt then 2m above a wobbly cam!
There were some spanish climbers that bolted some routes a year or 2 ago that have LOTS of bolts. Nice but you get used to it and then the other routes get scary. Basically the hard pitches are all well protected and the easier pitches can get a bit run out. Hook up with some locals, get used to the climbing and go for it.
There is a sport crag in Windhoek called Harmony as well.
