Deer Park: A fabulous place to die.

Post by Stu » Mon Oct 03, 2005 11:10 am

I had heard about all the rumours and news reports but went anyway thinking it couldn't be too bad. I parked at the bottom and walked up the path following two German tourists and a car. hadn't been there more than a minute when four 'nasty's' walked out of the forest looking like nasty's do. Everything changed the two whities in the car now sitting on the table were looking nervously at each other, but didn't want to show it. My flight or fight instinct kicked in and I made a hasty rereat back down the road, not caring what anyone thought, despite my willingness to use my panga. The German tourists not realising straight away what had happened then soon followed me down the road with a little more grace. What is the point of this tale, I don't know, guess just another reminder to go in large groups or not at all. What a shame.

I think an additional point to the tale is... if you feel nervous, RUN! Dont worry about what anyone thinks

Three words should sort out the problematic nasties:

\"Trap\" ..... followed up hastily by, \"Kangaroo Court\"

]Funny thing that hey, 10 000 years of evolution and we still have a fight or flight reaction – there might be hope for mankind (..and woman kind….don’t want to go starting something now!)

Another few short words for the nasties – three blows on upper lip with a No12 Hex …..

Yah Justin, it was more of an attempt to exit as 'cool' as possible as apposed to running down the road screaming  .
