Intermediate Boulder Problems CT

Postby ericd » Sun Aug 12, 2007 8:34 am

With 2 small boys my climbing is a bit restricted. :D To stay in shape I am looking for some good places with easy to intermediate boulder problems(Cape Town). Preferably where the kids can go along. Not sure what grade I boulder, sport climb 23. (Is there a comparison?) What recommended route guide is available?

Are there any documented routes on Sir Lowry`s Pass, driving out to Grabouw the place seems scattered with boulders?

In Cape Town we are spoiled for chose in terms of easy access bouldering spots:
The slopes of TM are covered in boulders, eg.
CBD - near the cableway;
Newlands forest - TDA etc;

...even Redhill and Topside are not too far for kids
