I watched the Mazda Adventure Zone on SS2 last night and to be honest, I was very disappointed.

I don't mean to be the a**hole here, but it was about 4/5 minutes long, and they only showed three routes being climbed (which was played at double speed). It was impossible to get a feel for the difficulty of the routes or the skill of the climbers...

I understand the show is meant for the masses but this was a great opportunity to advertise climbing in SA, to explain a bit how the sport works, and to let people know where they can get started (when last did we see South African climbing events on TV...).

Anyway, big up to the organisers for getting Supersport involved. It shows at least they are willing to give air-time to such a \"small\" sport.

Did anyone else watch it, your comments?

... and money buys the whiskey (or wine, seeing that I am in France at the moment and it flows like water!)

Show us some sponsors out there with R95K per event, and we'll have nice 26 min productions on Supersport. In fact, Supersport is keen. They are waiting for the footage, but it unfortunately costs a packet to produce it to the required quality...

Anybody out there with a rich uncle?
