Drifter ... do you have a belay partner ...

Drifter ... i have seen the mail and remarks you get in this forum ...

At sports crags people talk to one another ... i don't do much sport climbing but as a stranger to the more popular sites in Cape Town we generally chat to other climbers in the area ... climbers are friendly

Given the extent of your publications in this forum, there can't be too many climbers in the Cape that have not heard about you ... (and the milkman) ... how then do you stay anonymous to us ... i mean with a moderate level of intelligence, its pretty easy to pick up certain basic characteristics in the content and style of a persons conversation topics and manner of presentation that, well, would identify you to others ...

Assuming you seek to remain anonymous, and i aint asking for your name, tell me -

1. do you have a belay partner;
2. does he or she know that you are \" the drifter ... \"

Oh and one other thing ... you get a lot of abuse and criticism on this site but has anybody on this forum ever challenged you to meet them at the crags ... for a real challenge? Makes you think don't it ...

Take heart drifter ...

\"I seldom think about my limitations, and they never make me sad. Perhaps there is just a touch of yearning at times; but it is vague, like a breeze among flowers.\"

You'd be greatly underestimating the intelligence of any climbing partner if you're asking that question. (#2 to be precise)

Hmmm, now that's some interesting news there. Is 'Marmite' a codeword for 'Fudge' :?:

Does the old D climb with HIS MILKMAN? Is this the missing link?!?!

Stay tuned to find out more, right here on Drifter's Detracting from our Days.

<drum roll>
