Glenn Harrison is on the move...

Postby Gustav » Tue Jun 19, 2007 10:10 am

If you know Glenn, he left on Monday morning 07h00 from Maritzburg on one of South Africa's most grueling endurance races, the 2007 Freedom Challenge, a 2300 kilometre non-stop mountain bike race across South Africa that ends in Paarl, outside Cape Town.

Follow his position and the other riders with live tracking online at:

Glenn is out

Postby Gustav » Thu Jun 28, 2007 7:44 am

Unfortunately Glenn is out of the race. After being in the lead after day 5, he picked up a stomach bug that kept him down for three days. He tried to recover in Rhodes, but gave up after 3 days and took a lift offer back to Pietermaritzburg where he got further medical attention.

He was feeling much better when I spoke to him on Monday and \"already phsyched to do the race next year!\"

He sent out a long e-mail with details where he thanked everybody for the words and thoughts of support.

So Glenn will soon be back in 'Boven to pursue his other passion: building single track MTB trails. Why? To ride them, why else?
