Bouldering area

How you guys doing out there

Was driving towards Cape Town CBD one crazy Friday night mesmorized by the fully lit front face of Table Mountain and decided stuff it, I'm gonna check out the source. Upon approaching the lights along the Cableway road (about 200m past the base cable station Muizenberg direction) I noticed a hansome array of large, solid boulders. Naturally I forgot all about the lights, stuck on my ever-ready climbing boots, and had one of the best and most unique bouldering sessions ever. This was partly because although the session was at night, the boulders were more visibly lit up than during the day, because of those nearby powerful lights. Also, even though being right above CT city lights, it was an extremely desolate and isolated experience, although ironically I swear the whole of Cape Town could have seen my shadow against Table Mountain

Anyway the point I'm trying to make is does anyone know if this is an established bouldering region or if there are any topos/any info at all concerning the area?

Yip, most of those boulders have been climbed on and are established areas. In fact there are a lot more out there that have been climbed including the ones down in Deer Park. Take a stroll.
