Had an interesting experience on exposure yesterday and had to leave gear behind---two 8-foot slings and a locking biner, if you come across them i'd love to get them back.

Hey Toejam,

Would be interested to hear what you got up to have to bail. I also bailed once. Got marginally confused at the waterfall at teh walkin, then got off route after the crux...climbed a nice diehdral that got thinner and thinner unitl it all but pinched out...also left two nuts on the route so that we could abseil off...thankfully we had 60m ropes so it did make life somewhat easier!

Gear on Exposure

Post by Q20 » Thu Apr 26, 2007 10:12 am

Went up for a play on Exposure over the weekend. Great stuff, walk-in and out is pretty easy now since the fire.

Toejam - I have your biner and 1 long orange sling. Contact me on rjhalsey AT gmail DOT com

Also if anyone else ventures up there in the near future there is an ancient Wild Country #3 friend of mine on the first pitch (dont ask). Wouldnt mind that back either

Shot to Stewart Noy for the excellent topo.
