Hey Rock Ralliers,

As some of you might have seen there is a bit of rain forecast for this weekend, we will be making a final decision on how to proceed by Thursday.

Please help us by filling in the poll, the rally is about you the community, and now is the opportunity to make your voice heard.

To those voting to move the climbing to Sunday, have a look at the updated forecast: https://www.yr.no/place/South_Africa/We ... /long.html

We all know how extended forecasts in the western cape are not very accurate and usually gets downgraded, always a gamble but i have been watching it for a week and everyday it gets less and less.

Any word on when an official decision will be released from the organizers? I remember getting an email saying a final decision will be released today as to what's going to happen.

Also if it does get moved to the 27th I unfortunately won't be able to join

The weather report has changed again with rain only threatening in the afternoon.
Knowing the Montagu climate reasonably well, I'm of the opinion that Montagu town side won't get much moisture (if at all). However Bosch Kloof may get a bit of a drizzle in the afternoon.

So The Farm will no doubt be a popular place at which to climb. Bad Kloof should also be good.
Speaking of the farm, the road up to the crag has been fixed and you can even drive fancy Mercedes Benz _road_ type vehicles up there :alien:
