PEERS CAVE - Safety?

Post by jblunt123 » Mon Jun 25, 2018 9:45 am

hi all,

I was wondering if anyone had been out climbing out at Peers Cave recently?
the last time we headed there we had a a very unpleasant encounter, and left with a smashed window and a narrowly avoided mugging.

i love the crag, having learned to climbed there, and would like to take some friends back for a fun day out, am i being overly optimistic here?
and if i am, how many people share my optimism, perhaps we could organise a big day out in order to try and make this a safe climbing spot for all again.

thanks!

Sorry but in my opinion Peers Cave is a no go area at moment.
Rather go somewhere else, Silvermine, Lakeside Pinnacle etc.

It's a no go at the moment.

If you want to make a big day out of it, please let me know I can shout it out via the home page, etc (+ I'd really like to come along, I also used to climb there a lot).
