Garmin GPS

Postby Sam » Fri Jul 18, 2014 11:33 am

Howzit everyone,

Anyone have a Garmin they are willing to sell? I'm looking for the outdoor handheld version. Something like the GPS 60/CSx. Hesitant on the newer touchscreen versions due to how this might shorten battery life, but could be persuaded. Must be pretty much brand new...

Have a 60 Sxc but don't want to get rid of it, unless of course you want to swap it for a touchscreen one!

Ha, thanks Johann. I will think about it, but the touchscreen ones are probably going to be a tad pricey as a swop.

There's a lot of GPS discussion at: ... =140#67858

I use a Dakota 20, which is touch screen. The touch screen makes life a lot easier. I get about a days worth of battery life out of a pair of 2700 mAh rechargeable Enegiser batteries.
