Hi
I'm looking to buy a hand drill. Been trying at my local hard ware stores and they look at me as if I'm smoking something.

Any one know of a place or person that will be able to help me with this?

Thanks.

I'm sure they would look at you strangely!! Why would you ever want to use a hand drill when you can use an electric one?
Petzl do a hand drill - MMO should be able to order one for you.

And since I know you're using it for climbing, out of curiosity... what you up to?

Hi Justin

I've got a mate that has a family farm just outside of town. Some nice cliffs are situated along the river that runs through their property. We've been climbing them using top rope anchors from a trees and boulders. Its a little bit of a hike to get there with all the gear and water. So the load will be way less if I only have to take rope, shoes, harness, chalk, ATC and water. Usually we take all my slings, couple meters of static rope, the few cams that I own, carabiners and quickdraws. Just to go and top rope. Lot less time and effort if we had bolted anchors.
