2 Dutch seek for easy routes close to Joh-burg appro400km

Postby Woeste » Sun Feb 20, 2011 11:49 am

Hello ,

I come from Amsterdam... Holland.

Ive been rockclimbing a lot in Europe during my glory days . (now 45 )
Now I want to expand my horizons .. and I want to bring a beginner climber with me.
He is been doing lots of indoor climbing but has not much outdoor experience .
So we want to do a lot of easy climbs .without cams ..so sportsroutes and good equiped.

Do you know any good crags/places to begin with and where there is no problem of robbing ?
If there's a bit more chance of good weather ...that would be nice also.
Where planning to come around next week (end of feb.)
Are there any groups going to .....possibly team up. :)

Kind regards

Woeste

In de johannesburg omgeving...

Heel veel klimroutes (makkelijk tot moeilijk) ongeveer 3 uur rijden vanaf johannesburg, 2,5 uur van vliegveld is waterval boven. Goed weer en verschillende accomodatie mogelijkheden.

kijk op roc 'n rope site

Groet,

Willem
Climbing Off route doesn't exist; it's called a first ascent!
