(4B) vs. (4Bsharp)

Post by JouMaSeKloof » Mon Oct 15, 2007 2:54 pm

I recently picked up a copy of the excellent climber's resource \"Western Cape Rock\" by Tony Lourens and was wondering what the difference was between the bolt counts with #'s next to them and those without.

For example, what is the difference between the following two routes:

Mineral Water for Your Daughter (4B#)
Mango virrie Tango, Peaches virrie Disco (4B)

<strike>curiously</strike> stupidly yours,

The # is a key for a legend at the bottom of the page / end of the chapter. Usually it refers to the bolts being sponsored by an organization (not the actual peson who bolted it, ex. UCT or MCSA)
